The cholera vaccination is given orally and usually involves two doses, which need to be taken a minimum of 7 days apart. In order to be protected abroad, you need to finish the course at least one week before travelling.

COURSE

The vaccination Course Consists of 2 doses:

  • First Dose: 1 week before travel.
  • Second Does: 7 days after first dose.

You need to finish the course at least one week before travel.

Hepatitis B Vaccination

Hepatitis B is a viral infection that affects the liver and can lead to both acute and chronic liver disease. Unlike hepatitis A, which is commonly transmitted through contaminated food or water, the hepatitis B virus is primarily spread through contact with infected bodily fluids, including blood, or through contaminated needles.

Possible Side Effects

You may experience temporary side effects such as fever, digestive problems or headache.

BEFORE THE APPOINTMENT

Avoid eating, drink, and if possible taking medication for one hour before your appointment.
