Sculptra is an injectable treatment which is approved by the FDA. It falls under the category of dermal fillers but unlike other fillers that restore volume, Sculptra stimulates collagen production. The results appear gradually as your collagen production increases. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA); a biocompatible synthetic substance that stimulates collagen production and works slowly and gradually over a period of month to plump, lift and tighten your skin. It can be used to treat deep lines, creases, and folds to give a more youthful appearance.
Unlike dermal filler, the results are slow and gradual.

What happens during the treatment?
Sculptra generally takes around 30-45 minutes to administer.
