IV Drips & Vitamin Infusion Therapy
In the 1960s a physician from Baltimore in the USA, Dr. John Myers, treated patients with intravenous vitamins, minerals and amino acid for various medical conditions such as acute asthma attacks, migraines, depression and other disorders. He also treated healthy patients for non-medicinal indications with his IV ‘cocktails’.
Since then, practitioners have been using Intravenous Nutrient Therapy (IVNT) for non-medical indications such as, re-hydration, immune boosting, re-energizing, de-stressing and many more with incredible results.

How does Intravenous Nutrient Therapy work?
IV therapy can directly reach the bloodstream, allowing your body to absorb 100% of the vitamins and minerals it contains. It can also leave you feeling great for weeks as opposed to oral supplements; where only 15% is absorbed.
What happens during the treatment?
At Dermatox Skin Clinic the medical practitioner will discuss medical history, and recommend a formulation which will best suit your individual needs. Then the practitioner will set up an intravenous cannulation. This is the act of correctly placing a cannula inside a vein to provide access for the administration of the IV medicine. The IV solution is then directly administered into the bloodstream between 30 and 45 minutes.
You will be discharged 30 minutes after IVNT once vital signs are checked and recorded.
You can then return to work or day to day activities immediately.

How long does it last?
